Bengt O Björklund was born in Stockholm 1949. Today he remains being a poet, an artist and a percussionist. He has ten collections of poetry out there, 5 in his native tongue Swedish and 5 in English. He writes fluently in both languages. Presently he is working on a collection of haiku’s in Swedish illustrated by the well known cartoonist Ulf Lundkvist.

Om sorg, dokumentärfilm, 36 min. Emilie Löfgren
Vi får följa Hanna, Sven, Isabella och Dee som berättar personligt om hur de hanterar förlusten av sina närmaste familjemedlemmar. Om sorg ger oss inblick i fyra personers sorgeprocesser och tiden som rör sig framåt trots att ett liv har släckts.

Emilie Löfgren och Tanja Holm träffades på masterprogrammet i Dokumentära processer vid Stockholms Konstnärliga Högskola 2020. Vi dras till ämnen som rör vid människors inre, deras tankar, känslor och hur man tar sig igenom saker i livet. Under residenset i Tranås kommer vi påbörja utvecklingen av två nya dokumentära kortfilmsidéer där vi testar hur form och rytm kan rama in ett ämne.

What is happening between those two?

"Och jag är en del av Othello. Jag, Desdemona, existerar i Othello.
Och jag dör i slutet."

Lika dödligt seriös som den är lekfull, lyfter A Love Song for Desdemona bortglömda kvinnliga karaktärer i klassiska verk, som fram till nu inte haft något att säga till om i hur de tolkas. Vi får följa Desdemona när hon först bestämmer sig för ändra slutet på Othello och därmed undvika sin egen död, till insikten att hon, vare sig hon gillar det eller inte, måste följa Shakespeares text, men tillåts lite spelrum.
Amanda Gustafsson är skådespelare, teaterlärare och regissör. Hon har studerat vid Santa Barbara City College i Kalifornien och på Högskolan för Scen och Musik i Göteborg.

Astronaut/2x2m is a multimedia workshop around the theme of the pandemic and its impact on people's daily lives, emotions, and mental health. We will use the mediums of modern dance and performance, scenography, stop motion video, and literature to express our own experiences during the pandemic.
What had we felt and thought during those days? What were the routines we had? The imagined space is a room of 2x2m in which we would try to stage those emotions and thoughts. The outcome depends on the participants, but it would be multimedia work: performance and projections of video/images/collages.
Everyone with an interest is welcome. No prior experience is needed. We will work in both English and Swedish. The workshop is cost-free.

Med början vid Kultivera tar bildläraren Lars-Erik Strand med er på en vandring genom de centrala delarna av Tranås och stannar upp vid viktiga offentliga konstverk. Äldre och moderna, lokala och internationellt verksamma konstnärer.

"This is not the end" is a performance dialogue on the topic of climate anxiety. The piece is adaptive and learns with its audience as it carves out space to feel, (re)think and create on the topic of climate change.

Hej Förresten! is a movement based theatre production about friendship, identity and isolation, where children’s play makes up both the meeting ground as well as the tool of communication. It’s a celebration of children’s great imagination and capacity to create anything out of nothing. Created in a time where we can no longer take anything for granted. The production contains little verbal communication and is accessible for any child/family as well as an international audience.
