Rapture and the Broken Bowl

The fragile bowl of a cranium has been broken into shards. Delirium comes, with its visions, with its wings and tenderness. A city is shattered. Who will come and gather up the pieces? The way a body, a community lives through its catastrophes. Some disappear while others seal themselves off, isolated. These separations create urban crises, the streets are blocked with crushed angels, the spilled noise is just another product sold on the sidewalk. Who will open a path through all the swords, return the veins to each leaf, mend the basin to catch puddles of sunlight, see even lightning as a caress?
