Elin Käck is Senior Associate Professor of Language and Culture at Linköping

University. Her research mainly concerns poetry and poetics, primarily modern

American poetry and the avant-garde. She is currently the President of the William

Carlos Williams Society. Her book Constructions of Europe in Modern American
