Flavour your lunch break with literary voices. Pause the clatter of the daily grind to listen to one of the writers from an international cohort of festival artists describe what excites them and drives them in their creative practice.

Two poets with very different voices open up about who, what and how inspired them both to explore the world through their own creative language.

Biggs’s second poetry collection, Breakfast in Bed, was published in Autumn 2019 by Indigo Dreams Publishing. It was longlisted in the Welsh Poetry Book Awards 2020. Her first collection, The Spaces in Between was published in 2015. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She received a special mention in the 2020 Welsh International Poetry Competition, was Highly Commended in the same competition in 2019 and in the R S Thomas Festival Competition 2019. She is a member of the Rockhoppers – Coast to Coast Poets performance group. Some of her poetry appears on her blog: http://jackie-news.blogspot.co.uk Twitter: @JackieNews

Dave Urwin’s first collection, Towards Humanity, was published in 2015. His second, Plain Song from the Backstreets of Silence, was to be launched in April 2020, but postponed owing to the lockdown. It is available to purchase, however, from him. He is co-organiser of, and MC for, The Cellar Bards spoken word event in Cardigan, west Wales. He loves live performance of poetry. Lots of Dave's poetry can be seen on jadedmountain.wordpress.com
