Jonne Covers

Jonne Covers is a choreographer, contemporary dance teacher and film maker from the Netherlands, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is educated within the performing arts field, she has a bachelor in Dance in EducaMon from ArtEZ (NL) and a master in Contemporary PerformaMve Arts from Högskolan för Scen och Musik (SE).
In her work, Jonne specializes in bringing art forms together. She has been collaboraMng with many musicians, composers, writers and actors. In 2016 she fell in love with the medium of film when she created her first dance film 'Amuse', in collaboraMon with director Ivo van Aart. In the spring of 2021 her second dance film 'Dear tree, please don't spill on our grave.' started it's fesMval tour with a premiere at Cinedans FEST (NL). Jonne currently has her focus on developing her next film 'Six Fat Men'.
