Welcome to the BodyVoice workshop led by musician/performing artist Netanel Seri and dance artist Stina Nilsson.
This workshop explores how we can relate to each other and the space, creating rhythms, flow and tempo based on each person's skills and experience level.

Through breathing, interacting and listening, we explore the possibilities of movement and voice for communication and creativity. Finding stimulus for the body and the mind with a smile.

Passion for Film - Alex Schuurbiers

Alex Schuurbiers (NL, 1990) is an autodidact analogue photographer, filmmaker and writer living and working in Antwerp, Belgium. Her third short film WHERE I LAY MY HEAD TO REST will be screened this year at Tranås at the Fringe. Her practice is characterized by working always in analogue and often combining text with moving images. In line with her research on memory and rewriting identity, she will share some images of Homecoming, a film that she shot in Ouessant in May this year and that she is currently editing. We will delve into Catherine Russell's essay on Autoethnography and Agnes Varda's film Ulysse - two big sources of inspiration. Furthermore, she will explain how her relationship with the written word is woven into her filmmaking.

Terra Baixa är ett solo som tar upp spänningen i denna dualitet från den ursprungliga katalanska teaterpjäsen Terra Baixa. I det här stycket kolliderar bergens gemenskap, Terra Alta, och stadens gemenskap, Terra Baixa, och en av huvudkaraktärerna, Nuria, försöker desperat fly till bergen. Kan människor fly från den materialism och exploatering de är vana vid? Eller är det för sent?

A monologue by a young playwright and actress from a small town in Iceland, who is also the performer. A vibrating love letter to nature's forces inspired by the author's grandmother who talked to elves and predicted the future. The music is by Anna Thorvalds, she and the author share the grandmother, grew up under the same mountain by the same ocean. The piece is sincere, mysterious, exciting and physical. It leaves the audience with a sense of the invisible world and a belief in Hidden People.

Inspired by the writings of Deborah Levy, Virginia Woolf, Gro Dahle and Vigdis Hjorth, the dancer Stina Nilsson is creating "a room of one's own" in a public space in Tranås.

Waterflower

Waterflower uses plants and mushrooms as both a keyboard (connected to synthesizers) and as midi generators, transforming the plant's bio-data into music. Sometimes Waterflower’s songs are raw, grungy, and angry, channeling the frustration of dying nature - we are living in the age of extinction. The performance includes synched video animations created by the artist. Waterflower creates audiovisual music that could equally be exhibited in an art gallery, or discovered at an underground club.
