Mentors Corner: möjlighet att boka individuell rådgivning med ilDances producent och COMPASS projektledare Hanna Magdalena Gödl. Här kan du ställa frågor om t. ex. produktion av egna dansverk, att söka pengar till egna projekt, skriva projektbeskrivningar, hitta lokala sammanhang för dansare och konstnärer m.m. Hanna jobbar även på Gothenburg Fringe Festival och kan svara på frågor om vilka möjligheter som finns inom internationella Fringe festivaler för blivande danskonstnärer.

Passion for film - Mona Abbasnejad

Mona Abbasnejad is a documentary maker and has worked with television, radio and film for over ten years. In her own words, “I make films because I love stepping into other people's lives, to get really close and share their sorrows, anger, hope and happiness. To be touched, to feel empathy, even love. And, through these stories, reaching out to other people. This is a way for me to create recognition, understanding, empathy, and closeness. To touch and be touched.”

There will be a lot of Ukrainian artists at the art fair. You can buy paintings, prints, posters, postcards, stickers. All the money from the sales will go to help the city of Kherson, which has suffered hard after the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station.

What happens if, rather than starting from an idea, you pay attention to and relate to what is, arises and becomes in the moment?  If you go through the body?
By using bodies, voices and certain objects and manage “the flowing music” in the space; Light versus dark, sound versus silence, stillness versus movement. Is this an alternative way of creating a story? Is this a way towards a sustainable work for a sustainable word.

Welcome to the BodyVoice workshop led by musician/performing artist Netanel Seri and dance artist Stina Nilsson.
This workshop explores how we can relate to each other and the space, creating rhythms, flow and tempo based on each person's skills and experience level.

Through breathing, interacting and listening, we explore the possibilities of movement and voice for communication and creativity. Finding stimulus for the body and the mind with a smile.

Workshop - Lucy Durneen - Cosmic Beavers: Exploring the poetics of chance

Poetry starts in the mind before it makes its way to the page. Our words shape our landscapes, and our landscapes shape our words, much as the beaver constantly makes and remakes its world, changing the habitat of itself and those around it. This workshop aims to reconnect to the idea of poetry as a somatic, re-creative process enhanced and inspired by the random collisions between our bodies and our environments. The aim will be to make mistakes, surprise ourselves, and have fun with words. The session will take place outside – if weather doesn’t permit, we’ll embrace the spirit of contingency and see where things take us! All materials provided.

MYCELIUM - Street Art Live

Sergey Serko and Marianna Tarish are street artists from Kherson. They are members of an Ukrainian team called Art Group VacciNation.
We make vaccines against gray walls around the planet, it’s our mission to make the world more colorful.
During the festival Mycelium, they will paint some areas in Tranås.
They have painted walls in Ukraine, Caucasus, Taiwan, Iceland and Sweden.

2-timmars workshop: koreografi, komposition och eget skapande med William Säfström. Workshopen riktar sig till dansare och skapare som jobbar med rörelse, framför allt i åldersgruppen 16-27, men alla som har intresse att utforska rörelsebaserat kreativt skapande är välkomna!

Research proposal putting physical instability alongside the instability of being an artist. In this monologue punctuated by dance, Sarah, who got hit by a bus in 2021, uses performance to ask a question that can’t be put into words. She dances a duet with her injured self of April 2021, shares a list of things she is embarrassed not to know and, armed with glow-tape and foam, asks the audience to help make the performance space (temporarily) accident-proof before inviting them to dance along.
