Art fair of Ukrainian artists
All money from the аrt fair will be donated towards helping, our home town, Kherson, Ukraine

There will be a lot of Ukrainian artists at the art fair. You can buy paintings, prints, posters, postcards, stickers. All the money from the sales will go to help the city of Kherson, which has suffered hard after the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovska hydroelectric power station.

Music producer & DJ from Kherson, Ukraine

You will be able to hear his careful selection of sets and author's tracks from funk to acid and breaks.

Anton Kosiei one of the sought-after drummers in Ukraine. He has worked with many musicians from all over the world on tours in Ukraine. Blues, jazz, soul, funk and hip-hop are the main styles in which the musician works. One of the founders of the Ukrainian band " Crocodile Project".

Also owner of "108 studio" in his own city Kherson, where  he works as a sound engineer.

Anton Kosiei is a versatile drummer and has played with numerous international acts and and artists such as Gregory Boyd (USA/ Denmark), Vernon D. Hill (USA/Germany), Mike Wheeler (USA), Will Jacobs (USA), Breezy Rodio (Italy/ USA), Khalif Wailin Walter (USA), Daniel Jeanrenaud (UK), Ingrid Arthur (USA) and many others....

Anton is also a skilled electronic artist and can be booked with a solo set of live electronics and rhythms.

Sergey Serko and Marianna Tarish are street artists from Kherson. They are members of an Ukrainian team called Art Group VacciNation. 

We make vaccines against gray walls around the planet, it’s our mission to make the world more colorful.

During the festival Mycelium, they will paint some areas in Tranås.

They have painted walls in Ukraine, Caucasus, Taiwan, Iceland and Sweden.

Excursion to the exhibition of Ukrainian artists "Children of Hylea".

During the powerful migration movement of the Greeks in the 8th century B.C. along the coast of the Black and Azov Seas, a zone of ancient statehood arose, the largest centers of which were Olbia, Chersonesus, Panticapae, Hylea.

Hylea are floodplain forests in the lower reaches of the Dnipro and Ingulets. Herodotus also wrote about it: "If you cross Borysthenes, the first from the sea will be Hylea, and above it live the Scythians-farmers." Here located  the key to the secrets of steppe Scythia, and this place is our home. This place is our home, where we were born and grew up, where we respected the nature that gave us its beauty. But today Hylea may disappear forever.

From February 24, 2022, the land began to burn from the weapons of the occupiers, because of their aggression. Hectares of land, animals, and birds were occupied in the Kherson region. During the year of the full-scale war, 131 fires were recorded. Russia captures not only people, but also nature reserves and national parks of Ukraine. 30% of our protected areas are affected by war. 8 nature reserves and 10 national parks are arbitrarily captured, as well as objects protected by UNESCO. Unfortunately, we cannot yet estimate the extent of the damage caused to nature as a result of war: Biosphere Reserve "Askania-Nova", Black Sea Biosphere Reserve, Oleshkiv pine forest, National natural parks "Azov-Syvaskyi", "Dzharylgatskyi","Oleshkiv sands","Kamyanska Sich", "Nizhny Dnipro”, Bakay channel with protected islands, "Holoprystan acacia forest".

This is all our heritage, an echo of our ancestors. The philosophy of the Ukrainian mentality is care and preservation of the environment, water, air and soil. We understand, that not only our health and life depends on that, but also the fate of our child’s  and grandchild’s. Now each of us is dreaming about returning to our home and restore the ecology of our territory, our homeland.

Workshop - Flower Power from corrugated paper

Artist from Kherson, Ukraine
Olha has prepared a workshop for everyone, where she will teach how to make flowers from corrugated paper with her own hands. Come, let's create beauty together!

Olha is a practicing artist and teacher of art and creative thinking for children. In 2019, she opened a private children’s art school in her hometown of Kherson, Ukraine. She participated in exhibitions, festivals, the Venice Biennale, and developed the creative potential of young people. In June 2022, she came to Sweden (Lyckseke) for a 5-month residency, where she explored cultural identity; principles and psychology of isolation and occupation; the impact of war on people’s thoughts and actions; and mentally recovered. She currently lives in Tranås. Some of her works will be presented at the exhibition.

Yoga class with Irem Yeşilçavdar

She always had an interest in movement and nature. Since early childhood, she has been experiencing different types of dance and movement disciplines. Her curiosity about human consciousness ended up in studying Psychology and specializing in children with further education. Meanwhile, she met with meditation in 2016 and since then breath practices became a big part of her life. In 2019, she completed her yoga teacher training in Nepal and since then she never stopped sharing yoga and meditative practices. She combines her western Psychology knowledge with ancient yoga philosophy and creates her unique mind & body sessions. Her classes include sound healing, static and dynamic yoga flows, organic movement, breath awareness, and meditative practices. She has hosted recreational retreats, and cacao ceremonies in Nepal, Turkey, and currently in Sweden. So far, she has touched thousands of people of all ages, nationalities, and professions For her, yoga is just a form of art and a reflection of creation itself. She will hold the Shanti healing space in the Mycelium festival and share psychodrama & yoga & breath & sound & organic dance practices that are suitable for all levels. Be ready for the most spontaneous journey in the forest. (co-creation of dj performance with yoga flow could be discussed)

MIRARIS

Tranås Rock band. Their  music can only be described as a melting pot of influences. 

Some parts blues, some rock, a bit of jazz and traces of metal. This creates the unique sound of Miraris.

Insomnia Taxxi &  Zabutom 

Insomnia Taxxi, IRINA NOVIKOVA, From Kyiv, Ukraine

Ukrainian sound artist Insomnia Taxxi is one of the most innovative music creators from eastern Europe. When the war broke out, she found an asylum residency in Gothenburg and is now developing new projects from her temporary base in Sweden.

Iryna Novikova is a music producer, sound designer and DJ under the name Insomnia Taxxi. She’s in the European fore front within electronic experimental music, originally coming from a dark pop musical environment. Today she is moving towards immersive multidisciplinary sound art that works in both clubs, art spaces, galleries and museums. All her work has a deep political and metaphysical subtext. 

​

ZABUTOM is Niklas Sjösvärd, an electronic music producer and sound artist from Sweden. Across the last two decades he developed a style of music that takes influences from 90s era electro and IDM styles, 8-bit video game music and the deeper corners of his demoscene roots. 

He works magic with anything he gets his hands on - whether using just the raw sounds of a couple of gameboys or patching modular systems from scratch on stage. His live performances are full of musical energy - hauntingly beautiful harmonies, deep soundscapes and intricate rhythm.

Together with David Sabel he was one part of the legendary modular techno duo Buchla Boys, and in the international chip music scene he is widely recognised as one of the key influential figures, having performed live internationally since 2004 and released music on labels such as Data Airlines and 8bitpeoples.

Performance Stina Nilsson & Anton Kosiеi

A Swedish dancer and Ukrainian musicia

Stina Nilsson is a dancer based in Jönköping, Sweden. 

She graduated from The Danish National School of Contemporary Dance in 2009. Her artistic practice is based on improvisation and interdisciplinary collaborations. At the beginning of the 2010 s Stina was active at the Berlin scene for improvised dance and music, performing at Radialsystem, Sophiensaele, HAU, Tanzfabrik, Exploratorium and a number of art galleries, bars and experimental music venues. Stina has toured in Europe together with dancers, musicians, painters and poets. Stina is co-founder of Studio Silk in Jönköping - a space for experimental and interdisciplinary art with focus on dance and visual art. Since she moved back to Jönköping in 2017, Stina has been organizing improvisation festivals, projects, workshops and performances together with local, national and international artists from many art forms.

I have been an artist all my life, but since the beginning of 2023, my salvation, in addition to the visual arts, in overcoming a difficult condition in connection with a full-scale invasion of my country - was music, I began to study electronic music and try myself as a DJ. Studying DJing helped me get distracted and discover something new. On Mycelium festival will be my debut as a DJ. I invite you to immerse yourself with me in the rhythmic sounds of drums and broken like mosaic rhythms.
